Genesis 1:1 — “In the beginning, God created the heaven and the earth.”
The very first verse in the Bible, Genesis 1:1, introduces us to the most powerful truth of all: God is the Creator of everything. Before time began, before the earth took shape, before man was formed, God already existed. This means nothing came into being without Him, and nothing exists outside His knowledge or control.

When we truly understand this, it changes how we see our lives.

The God who created the heavens, the stars, the oceans, and the mountains, out of nothing, is the same God who can create something beautiful out of your life, no matter how broken or empty it feels right now.

Maybe you’re in a season where things seem dark, confusing, or uncertain. Remember: before the world had light, God spoke, and there was light. That same God can speak light into your situation today. He knows you completely, your past, your present, and your future, and He has the power to transform it all.

A great example is found in the story of Sarah, Abraham’s wife, in Genesis 18. She was old, far beyond the age of having children, yet God promised she would have a son. Humanly speaking, it was impossible, but what did God say?
“Is anything too hard for the Lord?” (Genesis 18:14)
And just as God said, Sarah gave birth to Isaac. What seemed impossible became possible because God, the Creator of all things, is never limited by what we see or feel.

If God could create the entire world out of nothing, He can surely create peace from your chaos, strength from your weakness, and purpose from your pain.

Trust Him today, He knows what He’s doing with your life.

Let us pray:
  Heavenly Father,
Thank You for reminding me that You are the Creator of all things. You made the heavens and the earth, and You can make something beautiful out of my life too.
No matter what I’m facing, I choose to trust You to bring light, order, and purpose into my situation.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
