Grammy Award-winning worship leader and songwriter Chris Tomlin has officially released his brand-new single, “How Good It Is,” the first track from his highly anticipated 18th studio album, The King Is Still The King, set to release on Friday, September 26, 2025. Tomlin made the exciting announcement during his recent appearance on the Fox & Friends All-American Summer Concert Series.

“How Good It Is” is a joyful anthem rooted in Scripture, drawing lyrical inspiration from Psalms 92, 98, 100, and 113. With its uplifting melody and powerful declarations, the song invites listeners to celebrate the greatness, goodness, and faithfulness of God.

"‘How Good It Is’ is a celebration of who God is," shares Tomlin. "Nearly every word of this song comes straight from the Bible. When we sing it, we’re proclaiming God’s Word together—and there is something truly powerful about that."

Tomlin also spoke about his upcoming album, describing it as a project centered on celebration: "If I could pick one word to describe this album, it would be celebration. I wanted the sounds of creation—wind, thunder, rain, waves, and birds—to help tell the story of a world rejoicing in God’s glory. My prayer is that this record lifts people’s spirits and fills them with joy and life."
