Entitled "No Darkness," this radiant composition possesses the capacity to resonate deeply with hearts around the world. Harley attributes the creation of this inspiring melody to a divine inspiration from the Holy Spirit.
Harley recounted, "The chorus came to me during a period of meditation on God's word when I was grappling with a personal darkness. Although I appeared fine to others, I was internally shattered. In the midst of worship, I began to offer this sound to God from a place of brokenness. Astonishingly, at a certain point, I distinctly heard the Holy Spirit echoing my worship back to me. I distinctly recall the whispered affirmation, 'Harley, there is no darkness in you. You are light, you are life, there is no darkness in you.'"
Harley's musical journey truly set sail during his tenure as the music prefect of his cohort (2012-2013) at Baptist High School Mankon. As he pursued higher education at the University of Bamenda, he found a musical home in the choir of Full Gospel Church Mile 3 Nkwen. It was there that his vocal talents flourished under the nurturing guidance of the Davids Band music ministry.
