“We return with gratitude because we have not forgotten so soon how you picked us from the miry clay and have brought us thus far. “Lifted” is a song of testimony that lyrically acknowledges that the blessings, liftings and heights we have reached today is certainly not because we deserved it, neither is it because we are more skilful, talented, educated or more intelligent than every other person who is yet to attain same heights, but obviously because we were supernaturally assisted by the grace of God for every single staircase of promotion we climbed and for every trophy we won.
This song is here to remind us of Apostle Paul’s sincere acknowledgement of divine help that says “I am what I am by the grace of God”. 1 Corinthians 15 vs 10."
