Asked about the inspiration behind the song, she said;
We all have a path that God has laid out for us but sometimes that path is not always comfortable or easy. Even when it seems as though everyone is against you, and there is no one to lean on, I have come to understand that the ever-faithful God is always there.
This song is a testimony and reminder of whom we should always trust in. Let this song minister to your heart and confess with your mouth that you believe that God can do all things. As the Bible says, we overcome by the blood of the lamb and the words of our testimony – This is my testimony.
