The Federal Road Safety Commission has warned the Nigerian citizens to always move around with these eleven (11) items for security and also to obey the law of the country.
The Federal Road Safety Commission that was created in February 1988 through Decree No. 45 of the 1988 as amended by Decree 35 of 1992 referred to in the statute books as the FRSC Act cap 141 Laws of the Federation of Nigeria (LFN), passed by the National Assembly as Federal Road Safety Commission (establishment) Act 2007 functions relates to Making the highway safe for motorists and other road users.
The Items advised are:
1. Warning triangle (c-caution)
2. Fire extinguisher
3. Jack
4. Spare tyre
5. First Aid kit
6. Wheel spanner
7. Water
8. Hydraulic
9. Transmission fluid
10. Torch light
11. Spare fan belt
