Breaking - Boko Haram Attacks Convoy Being Escorted By Soldiers To Damboa

Despite the continuous fight against Boko Haram by the Federal Government of Nigeria, the deadly group has continued to carry out their deadly attacks, the latest an attack on a long convoy transporting the corpse of one police sergeant whose relations were going to bury in Lassa town, Southern Borno State.

The convoy of over 200 vehicles was traveling to Damboa en route Southern Borno. The Convey is believed to be members of Mobile Policemen from Delta State who were being ferried to Askira Uba on routine change of guards to relieve their colleagues and hundreds of civilians travelling who seized the opportunity of the once in a day convoy to travel to the south of Borno which is accessible from Maiduguri through that dangerous route.

The driver of a truck full of medical supplies was also killed on the spot by the daring insurgents but details there is no official number of people killed.
